
Mr. Schultz is Program Coordinator for the Nebraska Sports Concussion Network . Currently employed as an athletic trainer at Nebraska Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine, P.C. in Lincoln, NE, he is the Sports Medicine Outreach Program Manager and will oversee the implementation of concussion testing programs for medical facilites funding the cost for neurocognitive testing in more than 140 high schools throughout Nebraska.
Mr. Schultz completed his Bachelor's degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1981, and Master of Education degree at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA in 1987. Since 1988, Dave has developed a sports medicine outreach program that now comprises 10 licensed athletic trainers providing athletic health care services to numerous athletic programs throughout a 20-county region in southeast Nebraska. He is a licensed Athletic Trainer by the Nebraska Dept. of Health and Human Services, Board Certified and member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the Nebraska Coaches Association, and a recent Hall of Fame Inductee to the Nebraska State Athletic Trainers' Association.
