Nebraska Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Physicians are team physicians for the Univ. of Nebraska-Lincoln Athletic Programs, and have not only become synonymous with caring for Nebraska's Champions, but have enabled countless injured athletes return to being successful, competitive athletes once again. Dr. Patrick Clare, MD, Emeritus, former Chief Orthopedic Surgeon for the Nebraska Cornhuskers for nearly 40 years was instrumental in establishing Nebraska Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine, P.C. as a center for orthopaedic and sports medicine excellence for Nebraska athletes. And Dr. Clare's contribution to advancing athletic health care on a national level is showcased at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Department of Intercollegiate Athletics' Division of Athletic Medicine. Current Director of Orthopaedic Sports Medicine for the Huskers - Dr. Robert Dugas, MD joins Drs. David Clare, MD, Thomas Heiser, MD, Justin Harris, MD, Aaron Bott, MD, and Dane Todd, MD to form Nebraska's premier Sports Medicine Team.
